The fine print

Who publishes this site

breakawaysprings.org is published by Breakaway Springs Park Alliance, a Texas unincorporated nonprofit association organized under Chapter 252 of the Texas Business Organizations Code, formed on September 16, 2026 by residents of Breakaway Park and Silverado Ranch in Cedar Park, Texas. Contact: [email protected].

Not legal advice

Nothing on this site is legal advice, and nothing on it creates an attorney–client relationship. It was prepared by neighbors, not lawyers, from public records and published authorities. No court has ruled on any question described here. If you are considering buying, lending on, insuring, or otherwise dealing with the property, consult your own counsel and read the recorded instruments yourself.

Accuracy and corrections

We try to state only what the documents show, to quote rather than characterize, and to link every claim to its source. If you believe anything here is inaccurate, tell us and show us the source. We will correct it and note the correction.

Public records

The deeds, plats, minutes, agreements, and correspondence reproduced in the document library are public records of Williamson County, the City of Austin, the Upper Brushy Creek Water Control and Improvement District, or the State of Texas, or were released by those bodies under the Texas Public Information Act. We claim no copyright in them. Several are compressed or combined for the web; originals are available from the issuing body or from us on request. Where a record was redacted by the agency that produced it, we publish it as produced.

Copyright and reuse

The original text of this site is © 2026 Breakaway Springs Park Alliance. You may quote it, with attribution and a link, for any purpose that furthers public understanding of the park — including news reporting, public comment, and correspondence with public officials. Please do not republish whole pages without asking.

Photographs of the park were contributed by neighbors and are used with their permission. They remain the property of the people who took them and may not be reused without permission. Short quotations from published court opinions, statutes, and treatises are reproduced for comment and public information; statutes and opinions are public documents.

Contributions

Contributions or gifts to Breakaway Springs Park Alliance are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. Contributions are voluntary, may be used only for the Alliance’s stated purpose, and are accounted for as described on the donate page.

Privacy

This site sets no cookies and runs no advertising. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies or cross-site tracking, and the site is served through Cloudflare, whose network records ordinary connection data. If you give us your email address to receive updates, we use it only to send those updates and we do not sell, rent, or share it; write to us to be removed at any time. If you email us, we keep your message so we can reply.

Public records on this site may contain the names of public officials and of people who corresponded with the County in their official or professional capacity, as those records were produced. We have removed or declined to publish the personal contact details of private individuals. If you are a private individual and believe your personal information appears here, tell us and we will remove it.

No endorsement

References to public bodies, companies, and individuals describe their roles in the public record. Nothing here implies that any of them endorses this site or the Alliance.
